  • Rasul Mirzayev attends his trial where he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, at a court in Moscow, Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012. Mirzayev was sentenced to two years of house arrest over the death of a man he had punched outside a club.

    Rasul Mirzayev, a bearded and lean 26-year-old, comes from Dagestan, Russia's most multiethnic province. He was convicted Tuesday of involuntary manslaughter, but set free after a trial that inflamed ethnic tensions.
