U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who briefly met Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang on Sunday, said that the North Korean leader is ready to allow international inspectors into his nuclear and missile testing sites.

The top American diplomat said the two countries are “pretty close” to agreeing a second summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and his N. Korean counterpart, notes Reuters.

Kim’s letter to Trump last month and a recent summit between the leaders of the two Koreas have apparently put stalled negotiations over denuclearization back on track, reports Stuff.
