Christine Blasey Ford, the woman, who accuses U.S. Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, of sexual harassment has called for an FBI investigation before she testifies in front of the Senate judiciary committee.

Ford’s attorney wrote a letter to the committee, urging a thorough non-partisan investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, but the committee chairman turned down the request saying that there is no need to delay the testimony on Monday, notes The Guardian.

In an interview, Ford’s legal team informed that she is facing an avalanche of threats, with her email hacked and family members forced to leave the house over safety concerns, writes the BBC. The allegations have put Democrats and Republicans at loggerheads, as the two sides clash over the shape and scope of Ford’s testimony.
