Those roving eyes are a window to a sea of information, and apparently, artificial intelligence has learned to make use of this channel to peer into one’s personality. Recently, a global team of researchers used an AI system to predict the traits of an individual’s personality just by scanning their eyes, and the results are encouraging.

The AI system could decipher the link between eye movements and personality traits, accurately identifying a person’s conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism, notes CNET.

This AI system, with its ability to detect certain facets of human personality, can reshape man-machine interaction, letting robots and computers be socially more aware and adaptive to non-verbal cues from humans, writes Mashable.
