Habitable 3D-printed houses to make debut in Dutch city

The “Project Milestone” in the Dutch city Eindhoven provides a sneak peek to the dwellings of future; the ones built using state-of-the-art 3D concrete printers, exhausting only a fraction of energy, money and time than that consumed in traditional construction.

Van Wijnen, the construction company behind these futuristic houses, touts these units to be the first habitable 3D-printed structures, notes Futurism.

The technology, now commonplace in various industries, not only economizes resource utilization but in the process scores big on sustainability for its potential to shrink wastage, writes Mail Online.
