The National Park Service, in its latest report mapping the risks to national parks from sea level rise and storms, apparently caved in to political pressure and published the final report with reference to human-driven climate change.

Earlier, Reveal, which originally published the article, had showed that the initial draft of the report omitted any climate change references in yet another reminder of the Trump administration’s attitude of censoring science and arm-twisting the science fraternity, notes High Country News.

Adam Markham, the deputy director of the Union of Concerned Scientists’ climate and energy program took potshots at the Trump administration for toying with the scientific integrity of the report and keeping it away from the public view, writes Earther.
