A Russian startup, called Strafory, has developed an AI robot “Vera,” which helps the firm’s clients, including top names like Pepsi, Ikea and L'Oreal, to zero in on the right candidates for a job.

Vera sifts through five job sites, identifying the resumes of interest for “high-turnover service and blue collar positions” like clerks, waiters, etc. and then calls and interviews the candidates, refining the list to top 10 percent of contenders, writes Mail Online.

Robot Vera, in the process of learning to recognize anger, pleasure and disappointment, can slash the cost and time of recruitment by one-third, reports Bloomberg.
