The Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, set to arrive in the U.K. on Wednesday, is likely to receive a mixed welcome in the European state with the ruling Conservative Party and royal family rolling out red carpets amid protests from human rights groups.

British officials view the visit as an opportunity for the U.K. to strike deals worth $100m over 10 years in the Kingdom that’s on path to embrace social and cultural reforms, notes The Guardian.

A coalition of human rights group is building up a campaign against the visit over the Kingdom’s abysmal record on human rights and for fuelling the Yemen war crisis, notes Al Jazeera.
