Ecocapsule micro homes go into production line

The much-awaited mobile, self-sustaining, micro homes from the Slovak company, Ecocapsule, are finally in the production stage and will shortly be available for buyers in the U.S, Japan, Australia and the E.U.

These energy-efficient pods, powered by a built-in turbine, photovoltaic cells and a powerful battery for backup, are ideally designed for off-grid living with all the basic facilities to accommodate two adults, notes Design Boom.

The compact dwelling is relatively so small in size that it can be easily airlifted, towed or shipped, an attribute that renders it fit for long outdoor retreats especially for scientists, researchers, tourists, photographers and camping lovers, writes Arch2o.
