Swedish people are warming up to a new trend aptly called “plogging,” which involves picking up litter while you run to get in shape. This multi-tasking “green” activity, mimicking the elements of interval training and mobility training, is getting popular outside Sweden as well, with Paris boasting off an entire plogging community to organize events.

The term “plogging” is derived by combining the words “pluck” and “jogging,” writes Green Matters. Environmentally-conscious fitness addicts pick up trash on the run and share their routes and pictures on social media.

Of all the strange fitness trends, this one appeals the most as it’s a fun activity in group and also nurtures our planet, notes Deccan Chronicle.
