American and Mexican artists, led by Enrique Chiu, are flocking to the U.S.-Mexico border fence, working on a mile-long mural that stands as a symbol of peace and unity against President Donald Trump’s plan of building a border wall.

“The Mural of Brotherhood,” which will feature positive messages on Mexico-facing side of the U.S.-owned fence, targets Guinness World Record for the longest mural, writes Inhabitat.

Chiu, a Mexican-born, California-based artist, says the mural, a reply to Trump’s nationalist and anti-immigrant politics, shows solidarity and renews hope in those who take enormous risks as they cross border in pursuit of a better life, notes Konbini
