All new construction in Atlanta to be “EV ready”

While several states are pulling the plugs on combustion vehicles, the city of Atlanta in the U.S. has gone a step further by passing a new ordinance that mandates all commercial and residential developments in future to be “electric vehicle ready.”

The decision is a step towards lowering the cost and simplifying the process of installing EV charging stations later when demands surge, notes Tree Hugger.
