Former Trump foreign policy adviser, George Papadopoulos, admitted to making false statement.

The probe investigating the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election indicted three former aides of President Donald Trump, including an election campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.

The charge pressed against Papadopoulos are potentially damaging for the U.S. President as they link directly to his election campaign, notes the BBC.
