London-based architect Margot Krasojević, whose work is hailed for a harmonious blend of architectural form, geometry, sustainability and smart materials, has proposed a transformable, moving bridge on China’s Wulan Mulun River.

The proposed structure, named “Dragonfly Bridge,” will sail along the river to relocate itself to new positions, writes Design Boom.

Krasojević says his design is inspired by yachts that synthesize flexibility and movement, notes En People. The architect claims that the innovative structure meets cities’ demand for adaptable designs and can be an ideal site for pop-up restaurant, quayside coffee shop or even a cinema.
