Italy's 5-star shows sign of internal split

Four senators critical of 5-Star Movement leader Beppe Grillo were expelled from the party on Wednesday, a sign of its struggle to remain relevant and engaged with grassroots backers amid a coalition shakeup that denied it both power in government and another chance to take its case to the people with elections.
