Sudan, CAR conflicts roil AU summit

The 54-nation body opened a summit Thursday to to discuss numerous issues, but chief among them were the military and political crises besetting Sudan and CAR, where rebellions have left the nations' futures as bleak as they are uncertain. A donors conference will be held Saturday to raise funds for CAR humanitarian efforts.
