ECB keeps rates at records low

As expected, the European Central Bank left its main interest rate unchanged at a historic low of 0.25%, holding course despite persistent price weakness in the euro zone that has fed concerns about deflation risk. ECB President Mario Draghi insisted once again that it intends to keep rates at current or lower levels for an extended period of time.
