JPMorgan Chase says co-chief operation officer Matt Zames will absorb the responsibilities of co-COO Frank Bisignano following the departure of the later to First Data Corp., where he will become chief executive. Bisignano was a key lieutenant of JP Morgan's chief executive, Jamie Dimon, who is now juggling his top team. Zames, who undertook the clean-up of the bank's $6 billion trading loss run up by "the London whale," will become sole COO. His promotion is seen as a boost to his stock as a potential successor to Dimon in the top job.
