Jolla embraces open source with Sailfish OS unveiling

Jolla demonstrated its new Sailfish operating system based on the open source MeeGo platform. Set to debut in 2013, the Sailfish OS will be operable for smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs, and its software development kit is available for developers to begin creating apps.
