Gabrielle Giffords. The judge overseeing the mass shooting case has scheduled competency and change of plea hearings for Loughner for Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2012. The schedulinheg order confirms that a plea agreement has been reached in the case.

    Jared Lee Loughner agreed to spend the rest of his life in prison, accepting that he went on a shooting rampage at an Arizona political gathering and sparing the victims a lengthy, possibly traumatic death-penalty trial.

Singh, one of killed in a shooting attack on the temple, never came home even once in 16 years, working at a grocery store during the week and volunteering at the Sikh gurdwara on weekends.
