Irish writer Mark O’Connell, in his new book “To Be a Machine,” re-imagines the boundaries of Transhumanism, conjuring up a deathless future for humans, where man and machine merge to form hybrid ideals.

In his award-winning book, O’ Connell claims that humans can and should eradicate ageing as a cause of death as technology-driven augmentation becomes more sophisticated, notes Daily Star.

The concept of Transhumanism is nothing new but the expansion of its realms from wooden legs and hearing aids to brain-implants and body-embedded sensors, imparting increased intelligence, strength, and lifespans to humans, is fascinating, writes The Guardian.
