Johannesburg-based, British-born street artist Sonny is headed for New York City with an evocative collection of decorated skulls and paintings, hitting hard with bone-chilling message about endangered wildlife.

Sonny, a passionate conservationist, brings out the plight and dire predicament of endangered species with “haunting” skulls, laden with golden horns and teeth, the very reason why poachers target them, notes Yatzer.

The skulls and paintings, to be displayed at 393 Broadway, New York later this month, seek to raise awareness about the threat faced by endangered species such as leopards, orangutans, gorillas, etc. while some of the prints will be up for sale, writes Design Boom.
