Michael Wolff’s explosive book, entitled “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” went on sale on Friday three days ahead of its planned release even as U.S. President Donald Trump threatened legal action against the publisher over damaging allegations.

Trump castigated the book as “full of lies and misrepresentations,” adding that he never authorized White House access to Wolff, writes the BBC. Publisher Henry Holt & Co called the book “an extraordinary contribution to our national discourse,” as it downplayed Trump’s legal threats.
