Food Loves Tech, an “education-by-entertainment” expo held in New York, delved into the future relationship of food and technology while touching upon a range of issues from the impact of genetic modification to automation of restaurants.

A New York-based startup, called Selffee, showcased a new edible food ink to print images directly onto cookies, coffees, cupcakes, etc. within minutes while another firm BeeHex exhibited its robot that prints 3D pizzas in any shape, notes Futurism.

Edible selfie business has struck a chord not only in New York but also in Britain, Taiwan and Singapore where startups like Let’s Café and Boomf are innovating and providing a glimpse into the future of food, writes The Memo.
