Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s lawyers have refused to share information related to an ongoing investigation into Russia’s alleged meddling with U.S. election with President Donald Trump’s lawyers.

The development hints that Flynn, one of the potential targets in Special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, could be moving towards a deal with the prosecutors, writes The Guardian.

Flynn was forced to step down as National Security Advisor after just 23 days into the office over his meetings with Russian operatives before Trump became the president, notes the BBC.
