The open feud between U.S. President Donald Trump and some of his fellow Republicans turned uglier on Tuesday as two GOP senators, Jeff Flake and Bob Corker, launched a fierce attack on the leader, who they say, has debased America and its global reputation.

Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, who finds himself at odds with Trump’s populist, nationalist agenda, lambasted the president for his “reckless, outrageous and undignified behavior,” adding that he won’t seek re-election, notes the BBC.

A strategist from Great American Pac, a pro-Trump political group, said Flake took the opportunity to retire on his own terms as he faces an uphill battle in the next election with slim chances of victory, writes Reuters.
