Today Art Museum in Beijing is hosting an installation, entitled ORIENS, which is an audiovisual exhibit that relies on a barrage of shifting shapes guiding the visitors into an immersive blackhole beyond human perception.

The 98 feet by 46 feet by 46 feet installation, nestled along the wall, creates a passive interaction with the audience viewing it from the center of the lobby, writes Design Boom.

Cao Yuxi opines that the installation’s title, which translates to “oriental pearl,” alludes to all spheres, such as the earth, the moon, or a meteorite, and their infinite forms.
