The White House has launched an internal probe following a report published on news site Politico, which claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner, and other senior functionaries exchanged official emails via personal accounts.

The report claimed that the investigation seeks to find if any classified information was compromised or if the breach has its wires connected to Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia, notes The Guardian.

White House spokeswoman said that Trump has instructed all staff to fully comply with the Presidential Records Act, writes AOL News.
