Tactical Urbanism twists transforming your cities

Tactical Urbanism, the principle that says citizens can take “direct low-cost, high-reward actions” to positively improve an aspect of a community’s public life, is gaining traction in cities with so-called “urban guerillas” pulling out innovative means to act on this definition.

For example, tactical urbanists recently popped up on the streets of Boston, with quick strike measures, often at odds with local authorities, to make roads safer, writes Tree Hugger.

Similarly, Amy Grey, a landscape architect and sometime an urban guerilla, employs Tactical Urbanism to address alienation in our high-density cities, notes Courier Mail
