Online store eBay recently announced that it is bringing two new features that will add visual search capabilities to its website and app. The new features, based on artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, place the online shopping platform in the same bracket as Pinterest, Google and Amazon that are already offering image search support to users.

One of the features, called Image Search, lets a user upload any image from their device and find listings that match the item in the photo, writes Tech Crunch.

The other feature, called “Find It On eBay,” allows the users to share images directly from any website to eBay’s platform, which will dish out the listings once the user specify the part of the photo they are looking for, notes Engadget.
