The White House on Tuesday confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin held a second, previously undisclosed meeting after their formal talks during the G20 summit in Germany.

Trump, already under scrutiny over his campaign’s link with Moscow, blasted the “sick” media after the latest revelation, writes the BBC.

A White House official revealed that Trump got up from his seat towards the end of a formal dinner and engaged in a conversation with Putin, notes Reuters. However, the official denied that the White House attempted to “hide” the informal talk, the content and exact length of which remains unknown.
