Amazon is offering its Prime members a new version of its Amazon Dash Wand, which is a $20 device packed with voice-enabled smart assistant Alexa and can be used to order food, getting recipes and controlling smart-home devices.

The device, which works in conjunction with AmazonFresh, is a smart way of pushing delivery orders from Whole Foods, the grocery firm that Amazon recently acquired for $13.7 billion, writes The Verge.

With this little, inexpensive device, Amazon is also providing Prime customers a “low-risk” way to try out Alexa, widening the possibility of future orders for more Amazon devices, notes Engadget.
