In an innovative approach, a Dutch startup called Nerdalize, has developed a simple setup that can pump up the heat of computer servers to common households, heating their showers for free, a model that can help companies get rid of humongous amount of energy, which is otherwise dissipated in the environment.

The startup’s simple business model involves installing a server in any house that wants free energy to heat up and this server space is sold to other companies, notes The Verge.

The company is set to launch the pilot project in August by supplying 42 Dutch households with heat, using what it claims “nothing more than data,” writes Nerdalize.
