With an aim to let patients take control of their medication schedule, three Seattle entrepreneurs have devised a new Bluetooth-enabled bottle that reminds the user to take pills or supplements at a set time.

Named Pillsy, the smart bottle tracks a user’s medication routine and automatically records the data on a secure cloud-based server, which can be accessed via mobile app, writes The Verge.

The bottle is developed with focus on wide-ranging issues, for example, it sounds alarm when the user skips a dose or when the user is about to take a dose twice mistakenly and also provides doctors access to the data for tracking, notes Geek Wire.
